NJBest had a heavy and outdated look throughout the whole site. Each section was done by a different agency so it lacked consistency.
You cannot create a good user experience without a functional navigation bar. I had to make sure that interface is simple and intuitive by utilizing familiar icons, actions, and features. With the toggle approach, a menu slides open in the header. It’s simple and user-friendly. The old site had rotating banners and each banner was a jpg image that contained a stock photo, text, and a CTA button. I suggested to use a few generic background images and html text so the updates can be made easily..
